A Dog’s Night Out good times / Home / music

This is my idea of a great night on the town: kicking back in the park , enjoying a delicious bone  and listening to some great music by . . . not too many annoying little kids around and a ON the site! I also got to help myself to the artist hospitality buffet of goodies, hanging out backstage with the band. It’s tough to see from the video, but the guitar player in the band is actually one of my humans, Douglas Smolens. He wrote that song they’re playing.

Dogs should be allowed to go everywhere with their humans. Not all dogs of course, some dogs just aren’t cut out for the responsibility of freedom, or need to be further trained for that. But those of us who are more enlightened should be able to take a test for free-roaming privileges, like the equivalent of a drivers license for dogs. We would probably need some sort of ‘Doggie Insurance’ to cover for any incident that might happen. That’s why I thought of Doggie Dollars economy system. I’ll write about that soon.

We will explore this idea in much detail in future blogs so stay tuned to dogonblog.com.

Born in Montreal Canada, I convinced my human to move all the way to sunny California, not only because my paws were freezing in the winter, but because I always knew I can reach a larger community here, in dog-friendly Los Angeles.
